Elizabeth Hornsby

Elizabeth’s path to estate planning is a personal one. After serving as caregiver for her grandfather, she experienced firsthand what it’s like to grieve a loved one while also navigating the probate process — and it gave her a deep, compassionate understanding of what families are going through when they walk through our doors. That experience is what draws her to this work: helping build estate plans that ease that burden for others, and guiding families through probate with patience and care when the time comes. Before joining Coleman Law, she spent several years coordinating pro bono placements for Legal Services of North Florida, where she personally led client-facing estate planning clinics. She’s skilled in intake, e-filing, discovery preparation, and drafting foundational estate planning documents like wills, living wills, and powers of attorney. During her free time, Elizabeth enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her dogs.
